My name is Yianni Bacolas, and professionally, that's what I generally go by
(named after my grandfather from Greece), but I also go by Johnny Bacolas (the English translation).

I am a musician, producer, and songwriter.

Outside of the rock bands I'm in, I LOVE to write & produce passionate and evocative music, that is emotionally-impacting, and that creates a "feeling."

I am an active member in two groups (as the bassist); The heavy-rock group, Second Coming, and the
alternative group, The Crying Spell. Both hail from Seattle, WA - more info below.

Second Coming

I'm a founding member and bassist of Second Coming, the band signed to Capitol Records in the late-ninties and achieved critical acclaim for it's
recordings and live performances. Second Coming has toured extensively across the United States. The band's music has been used in ESPN's
X-game extreme sports videos, in Bruce Willis' film"The Sixth Sense (song titled 'The Unknown Rider') and most recently in Clive Barker's 2008
horror film,"The Midnight Meat Train" (song titled 'The Great Big Sleep'). Second Coming's entire catalog is currently available on iTunes.

The Crying Spell

The Crying Spell went live with its alternative sound and live show in June of 2008. I'm the bassist of the group. The Crying Spell is currently
performing live throughout the Northwest and wrapping up production on it's first full-length
